Professional Tear Testing Machine Elmendorf Method Electronic Measurement
SLY-S1 Tear Testing Machine with standard medium 'B' pendulum with the facility of automatic clamping of the test specimen with a single touch, automatic calculations through Microprocessor based hardware which displays in values as well as in graph on touch screen cum graphical LCD control panel.
These test results can be transferred directly to the computer through RS 232 communication port so as to retrieve these test results later or to make a test profile.
This Tear Testing Machine can be used for the tearing test of

Test results are presented as tearing force in milli-newtons (or grams-force). Sample thickness is also reported, although there is no direct relationship between thickness and the tearing force. Therefore only results for samples of the same thickness can be compared.
